About us ...

The Hervey Bay RSL is located on the beautiful Fraser Coast. The Club is the premier entertainment venue in the region experiencing growth in Hervey Bay.

The Club's facilities include:- 280 gaming machines, 4 bars, TAB and Keno, billiards and pool tables, child care centre, bottleshop, 3 functions rooms, 180 seat restaurant, 160 seat deck and 100 seat cafe.

Bingo is played at the Club 6 days per week, and we are starting Bingo at the Clubhouse Hervey Bay in the coming weeks.

About the Role ...

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and professional Bingo Attendant who will bring their knowledge and experience to the team while continuing to develop their current skills

The Role

Ensuring the smooth operation of the Bingo events at Hervey Bay RSL Club, reporting to the Floor Managers

Responsibilities include:-

• Accurately recording transactions 
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Adhering to RSA & RSG policies
• Excellent cash handling skills
• Selling of Bingo tickets, PETS, and raffle tickets
• Bingo calling and payouts
• Maintaining Bingo spreadsheet, and payouts in accordance with our guidelines
• General cleaning
• Maintaining clean and tidy work area
• Follow safe work procedures

Job requirements

To be considered for this role, you MUST have relevant experience, skills and knowledge of the hospitality industry and required certificates:-

• Current RSA and RSG statement of attainments
• Current Food Handling certificate
• Must be eligible to gain a National Police Certificate for employment
• Minimum six (6) months experience
• Previous Bingo operations experience – payouts and PET vaults
• Be a strong team member, willing to adapt to change and follow direction
• Exceptional Customer service skills
• Awareness of HACCP Food Hygiene
• Team worker, pleasant vibrant personality
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Hours of Work

Casual hours, Weekly roster.  Must be available days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
