The Hervey Bay RSL is located on the beautiful Fraser Coast. The Club is the premier entertainment venue in the region experiencing growth in Hervey Bay.

The Club's facilities include:- 280 gaming machines, 4 bars, TAB and Keno, billiards and pool tables, child care centre, bottleshop, 3 functions rooms, 180 seat restaurant, 160 seat deck and 100 seat cafe.

The Role

Ensuring quality product and service is presented in a timely and efficient manner. Reporting to the Cafe Supervisor

Responsibilities include:-

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and speciality beverages.
• Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment.
• Cleaning service and seating areas.
• Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.
• Performing cashier duties

Skills for a barista 

• Customer service. excellent customer service skills is one of the most important parts of being a barista
• Coffee knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork
• Multitasking
• Cash management
• Ability to train other staff

Hours of Work

Weekly roster - regular hours

Shifts range from early morning starts - 8.00am to 9.00pm

Must be available days, nights, weekends and public holidays
