The Salt Cafe is located on the Esplanade overlooking the beautiful waters of Hervey Bay. We are seeking a person with an eye for detail, an outgoing personality and the ability to train and motivate the cafe front of house team. A great opportunity to join our team. The Cafe supervisor will report to the Cafe Manager.

Requirements of this role are:-

• Previous supervisory skills essential 

• Previous experience in Hospitality - Restaurant and Cafe 

• Must be able to work flexible hours

• Working hours - Days, weekends and public holidays

• Exceptional Customer Service skills

• Staff Management skills

• Ensure all services to guests are conducted in a highly professional manner

• Ensure a safe working environment

• Team worker with a vibrant, friendly personality

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent personal presentation and grooming

• Self motivated and organized

• Professional pride, honesty

• Accurate cash handling experience

Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - Qld

Hygiene for Food Handlers Certificate

Good communication skills - oral and interpersonal

Ability to supervise staff and manage staff

Ability to communicate well with all ages

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to prepare basic desserts and refreshments

Previous coffee shop or waiting experience

Ability to correctly process sales transactions
